I Am So Chicken!
About 2:30 last night another storm came into Childress. It only brought rain this time, but I must admit..I was a big ole chicken. Steph and I both popped up when the thunder boomed...I grabbed the laptop to look at the radar to see it was just rain. We had to put some towels and trash cans out where the skylights leaked and then snuggled back into bed. I couldn't believe I was so stinking chicken though.....so for today's post you get facts about chickens. I know I am sort of goofy, but we have to keep this blog interesting....enjoy.
-The chicken can travel up to 9 miles per hour.
-There are more chickens than people in the World.
-The closest living relative of the Tyrannosaurus Rex is the chicken.
-According to a local ordinance, in Gainesville, Georgia it is illegal to eat chicken with a fork.
-Not only does China have the most people, it also has the most horses (10,000,000) and the most chickens – more than 3,000,000,000 of them.(that is billion with a B)
-Chickens have been tested to see how they react to human faces. The ones they prefer are consistent with human sexual preferences. In other words chickens like beautiful people best.
So now you have some useless chicken trivia...take care, and keep it positive!

Okay we all know you are chicken, but I must admit that your post today is hilarious!!! But to be honest, after Sunday nite we are all alittle chicken!
I just feel sorry for the little ones...Ours used to sleep right through a storm...and now they are up before the storm even hits...Lets just say the floor instead comfortable when you are 8 months pregnant...but little K didn't want me to leave her until she feel asleep and the storm was gone. Bless their poor lil' hearts...I know if I am scared...they are 100 times more...take care of yourself...steph
